Wedding Invites for a Barbados Wedding

Posted by Elizabeth Christenbury on

I had the lovely opportunity recently to help a friend, Theresa Fu, design some small details with her wedding invites. She utilized this motif in her gold embossed details card, on her website, and in her super chic wax seal which held together the entire invite collection. For the logo, she envisioned a pineapple which incorporated her fiancé's, and her soon-to-be, last initial.

We opted to design the detail and rsvp cards with a minimal typewriter aesthetic to coordinate with the handcrafted quality of her hand calligraphied transparent invites and charcoal outer envelopes.

She completely crafted her invites by hand, from the gold embossing and the wax stamp logo, to the charming calligraphy and hand assembled gold envelope lining. And like a letter from a far away destination, she used antique stamps to give her destination wedding invites some extra character.

Would love to hear what y'all think about this super creative use of materials for these gorgeous invites.  Way to go Theresa!
