Apatite

Blue apatite runs from swimming-pool teal to a deeper ocean blue, and rough apatite holds that colour more openly than a polished stone does. Two pieces are live here and both are small: a petite ring and a pair of stud earrings, each in yellow gold, rose gold or sterling silver.

What to expect from your Apatite

Stones, metals, delivery windows, sizing and daily wear, gathered in one place.

Why is every raw stone different?

Each stone is a genuine raw gemstone, kept in the shape it grew in rather than cut and faceted. Colour, shape and inclusions shift from one crystal to the next, so no two pieces are identical and the one that arrives is a close relative of the photo rather than a copy. Every gemstone we set is conflict-free.

What are these pieces made of?

Gold styles are 14k gold-filled (1/20) finished with a 24k gold dip, warm pink styles use rose gold fill, and any style listing a silver option is made in 925 sterling silver. Gold fill is a thick bonded layer of gold rather than a thin plating, which is why it stands up to daily wear. We use recycled precious metals wherever possible, and every piece is 100% hand crafted in our Atlanta studio by Bailey.

When will my order reach me?

Shipping inside the US is free on every order with no minimum, and each parcel travels with tracking. In-stock pieces ship within 1 business day and land in 3 to 5 days, while made-to-order pieces are handcrafted within 10 to 15 business days before they ship. International orders travel at USPS rates, and any duties are the responsibility of the buyer.

What if I need to send something back?

Unworn pieces can come back to us within 100 days of delivery, with custom and made-to-order work as the two exceptions. Return postage is paid by the buyer unless the mistake was ours. Write to support@ringcrush.com and we will walk through it with you.

How do I land on the right ring size?

Sizes are listed on each ring page, and ready-to-ship rings are made in whole sizes. Every ring page carries a size guide plus a printable paper sizer you can measure with at home. If you sit between two sizes, take the larger of the two.

How do I keep a piece looking its best?

Keep it clear of chlorine, harsh cleansers and household chemicals, and slip it off before you swim. A soft dry cloth is all it takes to buff the metal back up. Store it dry and out of direct sun, and the Ringcrush gift box that comes with every order at no extra charge is a good place for it.

A closer look at Apatite

Apatite is a phosphate mineral, softer than quartz and prone to chipping, which is why we keep the crystals modest in size. Settings are 24k gold over electroformed copper or sterling silver, both made by hand in our Atlanta studio. Two apatite styles are live right now. The ring is the least expensive piece on this page, starting at 23.10, and it comes in sizes 5 through 9 with a yellow gold, rose gold or sterling silver band. The stud earrings are 39.60 in yellow gold, rose gold or sterling silver. The stud is the easiest entry if you have not worn apatite before, since the stone sits close to the ear and the colour does all of the work, and the ring is slim enough to stack beside a plain band. If the blue is what drew you in, the wider blue collection adds sapphire and aquamarine.
