February Birthstone Jewelry

February belongs to amethyst, and every piece here is made with raw amethyst we choose stone by stone. You will find rings, studs, drop earrings, chokers and layered necklace sets, set in 24k gold over electroformed copper or finished in silver and rose gold. Because the crystals are rough rather than cut, no two pieces come out the same.

About February's birthstone

Amethyst is the traditional February birthstone, a purple quartz that runs from pale lilac to deep grape. Everything in this collection uses it, and we use it raw, which is the main choice to make when you shop here. A raw amethyst keeps its natural crystal points and uneven faces, so it catches light in scattered flashes and reads as a piece of the earth. A cut stone, like the one in our Antique Cut Amethyst Ring, is faceted and symmetrical, with steadier sparkle and a more classic look.

For everyday wear, the mini raw stud earrings and the dainty rose gold ring stay small and close. If you want the stone to be the point, look at the large raw amethyst stud, the statement and five stone rings, or the large pendant necklace. Cluster and fan styles group several small crystals, which gives more color spread without more bulk. Amethyst is often associated with calm, and it is a common gift for a February birthday.

What to expect from your February Birthstone Jewelry

Stones, metals, delivery windows, sizing and daily wear, gathered in one place.

Why is every raw stone different?

Each stone is a genuine raw gemstone, kept in the shape it grew in rather than cut and faceted. Colour, shape and inclusions shift from one crystal to the next, so no two pieces are identical and the one that arrives is a close relative of the photo rather than a copy. Every gemstone we set is conflict-free.

What are these pieces made of?

Gold styles are 14k gold-filled (1/20) finished with a 24k gold dip, warm pink styles use rose gold fill, and any style listing a silver option is made in 925 sterling silver. Gold fill is a thick bonded layer of gold rather than a thin plating, which is why it stands up to daily wear. We use recycled precious metals wherever possible, and every piece is 100% hand crafted in our Atlanta studio by Bailey.

When will my order reach me?

Shipping inside the US is free on every order with no minimum, and each parcel travels with tracking. In-stock pieces ship within 1 business day and land in 3 to 5 days, while made-to-order pieces are handcrafted within 10 to 15 business days before they ship. International orders travel at USPS rates, and any duties are the responsibility of the buyer.

What if I need to send something back?

Unworn pieces can come back to us within 100 days of delivery, with custom and made-to-order work as the two exceptions. Return postage is paid by the buyer unless the mistake was ours. Write to support@ringcrush.com and we will walk through it with you.

How do I land on the right ring size?

Sizes are listed on each ring page, and ready-to-ship rings are made in whole sizes. Every ring page carries a size guide plus a printable paper sizer you can measure with at home. If you sit between two sizes, take the larger of the two.

How do I keep a piece looking its best?

Keep it clear of chlorine, harsh cleansers and household chemicals, and slip it off before you swim. A soft dry cloth is all it takes to buff the metal back up. Store it dry and out of direct sun, and the Ringcrush gift box that comes with every order at no extra charge is a good place for it.
