June gets two stones we actually work with: pearl and rainbow moonstone. Both are quiet stones with a lot going on up close, one with a soft surface glow, the other with a blue flash that moves as you turn it. Everything here is made by hand in our Atlanta studio, set in 24k gold over electroformed copper on 14k gold-filled (1/20) chain with a 24k dip.

How to choose June birthstone jewelry
Pearl in this collection runs from small raw white pearls in dainty studs and stacking rings to baroque pearls on drop necklaces and chokers, plus black pearl studs for something darker. Raw and baroque pearls keep their natural lumps and dents, so the surface reads soft and uneven rather than machine round.
Rainbow moonstone shows up in rings, studs, and necklaces. Raw moonstone is left rough, with frosted faces that catch a blue sheen at certain angles. Cut moonstone is smoother and more even in its flash. Raw pieces look more organic and no two match.
