Each of these large moonstone earrings have been selected for "flash", which means the beautiful blue "flashes" of color you see when looking at the gemstone from different angles. Each gemstone is guaranteed to have some blue flash, although the level of flash varies from gem to gem. These quality rings are made with a pure 14k gold filed earring post and back, perfect for sensitive ears.
These statement earrings are made from genuine moonstone. Although moonstone is the birthstone for June babies, this beautiful gem makes a great gift for just about everybody!

Unlike similar earrings on Etsy, these quality earrings have components made with pure 14k gold fill, not copper. The bezel is also plated with a very thick layer of 24k gold, much thicker than typical gold plating. I often refer to this process as "gold dipping". Copper is a less precious metal than 14k gold fill, known to turn your finger green and to tarnish very quickly under normal conditions. The pure 14k gold fill post and earring back on this moonstone earring set will not cause discoloration on your skin.
You will receive one of the pieces pictured above, or a ring nearly identical to the pieces above. Since each gemstone is one-of-a-kind, I cannot guarantee that the gemstone you see above will be available. I have tried my best to photograph the varying degree of colors, so your piece will fall in the spectrum of color among the rings photographed above.

- Shipping within the US is free on every order. In-stock pieces arrive by USPS in 2 to 5 business days.
- Made-to-order pieces are handcrafted within 10-15 business days, then ship by the same free USPS service. Mixed orders ship together once the made-to-order piece is finished.
- We ship worldwide. International rates are calculated by USPS at checkout; European orders include a $3.50 handling fee.
- Customs duties, import taxes, and brokerage fees are the buyer's responsibility and are collected by your local authorities.
- Every order ships with tracking.
- Return an unworn piece within 100 days from the day your order is delivered, in its original packaging with all tags and pouches included.
- Custom, made-to-order, personalized, engraved, and special-order pieces cannot be returned or exchanged unless they arrive damaged or differ from what was ordered. Gift cards and final-sale items are non-returnable.
- Return shipping is the customer's responsibility. If the error is ours, we cover it and send a prepaid label.

Questions
Every stone we set is a genuine gemstone, left raw and cut by nature rather than by a machine. That is the whole point of the piece, and it is also why no two are alike: color, shape, and the inclusions inside the stone shift from one to the next, and the same stone reads differently depending on the light and the angle you catch it at. Your piece will be a close cousin of the one photographed, never an identical twin.
How do I care for it?Very little upkeep. Keep it away from chlorine, harsh cleansers, and household chemicals, and take it off before swimming. An occasional buff with a soft dry cloth is usually all it asks for, and it is happiest stored somewhere dry and out of direct sun. Cared for that way, gold-filled and sterling pieces are made to be worn every day.

This means your earring will not turn your skin green, and will be able to sustain heavy wear, scratches and nicks. The shank will also not tarnish any more than pure 14k gold would, but you may need to use a light microfiber polishing cloth every few years to keep the color bright and shiny. Please note, although rare, some people may be allergic to gold, so if you have a reaction please let me know and I will happily accept a refund. Also please note that this type of earring is impossible to make without copper around the gemstone, so there is a copper build up around the gemstone and onto the shank. This is necessary for the security of the gemstone, and the small patch behind the gemstone will eventually darken if worn everyday.

Such a beautiful piece of moonstone, you can really see the blue come out, and I love the backing these come with too! If your ring size is a half size or in between we recommend rounding up, as our ring shanks are very dainty and comfortably accommodate down to a half size difference. There is no risk in trying as we have a free 100 day return policy for U.S. customers!

• We handcraft all of our one-of-a-kind wearable art pieces using a unique process we refer to as "Creative Chemistry"
• Our stones are sourced from countries all over the world - Ametrine from Bolivia, Opal from Australia, Peridot and Turquoise from the USA.
• Each stone is carefully selected and hand assembled with fine gold-filled metals, and a special paint is applied which allows electricity to run through the piece.
• Through careful calculation, and a complex series of very nerdy hand-applied chemical processes, an organically shaped smooth golden (or silver) bezel is formed around the gemstone.
